HandData, Activa Multimèdia’s solution, is distributed in Colombia through Britel

Britel Colombia LTDA distributes and integrates the management and broadcasting system of AM’s interactive service for the DTT

The telecommunications company Britel Colombia LTDA distributes and integrates the management and broadcasting system of HandData, Activa Multimèdia’s interactive service for the DTT. The system enables Britel Colombia LTDA, a company specialising in digital television, to develop functional prototypes of applications and interactive service within the ARTICA platform – Colombia’s Regional Alliance of Applied ICTs.

HandData is a product designed to control, manage and broadcast data services over terrestrial broadcasting networks, satellites or cable, and it enables the covering of four needs in one – the broadcasting of MHP interactive applications; the generation of Service Information; the reproduction of M PEG2 Transport Stream sequences; and the broadcasting of other data formats – digital subtitles, DVB-SSU to update receivers’ software, DVB-MPE to broadcast IP data, and so on.

Moreover, HandData, Activa Multimèdia’s solution, can be easily integrated into any digital television broadcasting system and it enables the complete management of MHP interactive applications.
